Volunteer Opportunities:
At Rosemary, it's a privilege to have individuals and businesses recognize our needs and volunteer their support.
- The Bonnie Guild: Join a very social group of women in a house guild and work directly with resident girls. Guild members organize birthday celebrations, holiday parties and fund special projects to create living environments that are more efficient and comfortable.
- Holiday Volunteers: Create a festive occasion for foster children and resident girls. You can help organize a toy drive for our children or sponsor a holiday party. Wish lists from our children offer a unique opportunity to fulfill individual holiday gifts.
- Tutoring: Tutor in the Rosemary's Non Public School. Students range from 13-18 years old and need help in all subjects as well as SAT prep. An excellent opportunity for those with proficient skills in an academic subject who are seeking first hand interaction with a child. Tutoring hours are available Monday- Friday 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; weekend hours can be arranged.
- Mentorship: Support a young person through an on-going 1:1 relationship and serve as positive role models. Mentorship duties include planning and participating in activities with the youth, helping set and working towards positive goals, and providing appropriate guidance. Mentors are required to be at least 21 years old, maintain weekly communication and spend a minimum of 8 hours a month with the mentee.
